Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)? Do you thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment? This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to provide focused 2:1 support for twin boys with ASC. 

The Role
We are seeking a patient, compassionate, and proactive Teaching Assistant to work closely with two energetic twin boys who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition. Someone with vigilance and strong behaviour management skills is essential.

As their dedicated 2:1 TA, your main responsibility will be to ensure their safety, provide emotional and behavioural support, and help them engage positively with their learning. You’ll be working in a supportive, inclusive school environment, where staff work closely together to provide tailored support for children with SEND.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2:1 support for twin boys with ASC, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored strategies
  • Manage challenging behaviours
  • Encourage positive social interaction and help the boys engage in classroom activities
  • Maintain clear communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in their care

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Autism, but a strong understanding of SEND and a passion for supporting children is just as important. We are looking for someone with a calm, positive approach, excellent behaviour management skills, and the ability to quickly build trusting relationships with children.
