The curriculum offers both academic and vocational options dependent on each students' needs. Requirements of a SEN Teaching Assistant Experience with challenging behaviour – this role would really suit someone who has worked in a PRU or SEMH school, has worked as a Pastoral Officer in a school, or has experience with challenging behaviour as a Youth Worker. Experience working to support pupils with physically and emotionally challenging behaviour A resilient personality and an ability to build rapport quickly with staff and students. In this role, you will be working alongside various professionals in a bespoke building with a range of sensory rooms, a hydrotherapy pool and therapists. In this role, you will be supporting students with various activities which promote mobility and sensory needs.
