About the Role

Primary SEN LSA

East London

We are supporting a wonderfully warm and holistic primary special school in East London who are looking for SEN LSA'S r to join their collaborative and dedicated team. This is a setting where communication is celebrated in all its forms! Most pupils are pre-verbal and supported through PECS, Makaton, Core Boards and a truly child-centred, sensory-informed curriculum.

This is a setting where joy matters. Where learning is hands-on, playful and responsive. Where behaviour is understood through a positive behaviour support approach, and where every child is seen, heard and understood.

Small class sizes (around eight pupils with four support staff) allow for close relationships, meaningful interaction and personalised learning journeys.

Collaboration is a key element to working here. Therapists are integral to daily practice, with Occupational Therapists and Speech & Language Therapists working directly in the classrooms so that therapeutic support is woven into the curriculum, not just bolted on.

In addition to working in such a purpose led role, alongside passionate and collaborative colleagues, the school has access to lots of outdoor learning spaces, quite unique to this area of London. They have a wonderful 3 tiered soft play/sensory area adding even more enrichment for the children who attend.

You may already be an experienced SEND LSA. Or you may be wanting to embark on your SEN journey. What matters most is your creativity, your warmth, and your belief that learning should feel exciting, accessible and safe.

If you are curious to know anything more about this role and school, I would be happy to help answer any questions....give me a call!

You can apply by responding to this advert, uploading your CV to our website, or calling us on 0203 011 4848 and ask for Faye
