Behaviour Mentor - Essex - Chelmsford

Do you have a passion and talent for supporting children and young people who cannot access mainstream education and mental health disorders?

I am actively seeking an engaging and passionate Behaviour Mentor to work in a SEMH specialist setting that provides education to children who are unable to be educated in a mainstream school due to behaviour difficulties. I am looking to speak to professional and committed Behaviour Mentors to work in a SEMH setting in the Chelmsford area The role is working within the secondary department supporting behaviour and learning in class settings. 

Even if your experience is informal/voluntary, I want to hear from you! The children you will support will have a variety of needs which can include significant complex behaviour challenges.

Behaviour Mentor requirements:

 ● Experience of working with young people with SEMH, Autism, behavioural issues, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication

● Learning Mentor/ Youth Worker experience

 ● Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships

● A passion for working with SEND is essential

What you can expect as a Behaviour Mentor:

● Excellent experience and training for aspiring Teachers, Pastoral workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, and Social Workers
