The school and what they do

Parker Smith Inclusions are working closely with an excellent school located in South-East London that are currently looking to recruit a Behaviour Mentor to join their team. Here they are focused on delivering the highest level of support and teaching to every pupil, even in the most challenging situations. One of the schools many top priority’s is the student’s Mental health and wellbeing, which is why we believe they deserve the best support. Here they can offer support for pupils who have found mainstream school difficult due to disruptive or challenging behaviour and help them get back on the right track.

We are actively seeking a passionate SEND/SEHM Teaching Assistant, to help support and guide the behaviour of the pupils whilst on their journeys at this school. 

 

Behaviour Mentor Requirements

  • The ability to enthuse; inspire others and have a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • A genuine drive to want to help/support the learning, development of pupils.
  • Resilient and able to work well in challenging situations.
  • Experience working with young individuals within SEMH or SEND is excellent but is not essential.
  • Commitment to helping every student progress and achieving.

 

The role as a Behaviour Mentor

  • You will be expected to be able to face challenging situations in a professional manner as a Teaching Assistant.
  • An exceptional opportunity for teachers, Child Phycologists, Social Workers, Counsellors.
  • Have a positive impact on the pupil’s life’s and help to shape their futures.
  • Building strong relationships between yourself and students.
  • Temp to perm for immediate start applications – day rates equivalent to £18,000 PAYE only.
