I am seeking a Design & Technology Teaching Assistantin Southwest London who has a passion for working with children with high complex SEMH needs. Experience is not vital, but the correct attitude and a real passion to help those with special needs is desirable.

Brief overview:

· Design & Technology Teaching Assistant

· £80-£100 a day PAYE (Experience depending)

· Location: Southwest London

· SEMH school for children with a diagnosis of SEMH and co-morbid needs

· Ability to engage children with SEND is essential

· 4 pm finish time

About the role:

As a Design & Technology Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for aiding in engaging lessons for smaller groups of children. You will be providing primary aged children with the support they need by being as engaging as possible to assist with their learning.

This role requires someone with the following attributes:

· A creative mind and a passion to pass on expertise

· Emotional resilience with a positive mindset.

· Team player who can build rapport with children, staff and parents.

· Wants to improve own skillset by learning new specialist skills.

· Determination to improve the child’s social, emotional and mental health development.
