Higher Level Teaching Assistant  

  • Location: South West London
  • Start date: Immediate start
  • Pay: £30,000-£40,000 (depending on experience)
  • Contract type: 6-week contract with potential to go permanent

At Parker Smith Inclusion we are working closely with a fantastic school based in Southwest London who are currently looking for a passionate HTLA to work with high complex needs. This school prides itself in providing the children with a safe engaging environment helping them to achieve their very best. The ideal candidate must have a genuine passion for SEMD and want to make a real difference.

Overview:

  • £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
  • Location- Southwest London
  • Working hours of 8:00am – 4.00pm (Mon – Fri)
  • Excellent training opportunity.
  • 6-week contract with potential to go permanent

 

About the Role:

  • Delivering engaging lessons for small groups of children.
  • Corresponding with the school’s multidisciplinary therapy team to encourage the students learning. 
  • Build strong meaningful relationships between yourself and the children.
  • Build your knowledge and skills in SEMH/SEND.

 

The Ideal Teaching assistant:

  • Passionate for SEMH and wants to further their knowledge.
  • Able to professionally deal with challenging behaviour.
  • Able to help the children excel in their studies and have a bright future.
  • Determined to help improve the children’s social, emotional, Mental Health.
