Primary Learning Mentor  - East London  

Do you have a passion and talent for supporting children and young people who cannot access mainstream education and mental health disorders?

I am actively seeking an engaging and passionate Primary Learning Mentor  to work in a PRU setting that provides education to children who are unable to be educated in a mainstream school due to behaviour difficulties. I am looking to speak to professional and committed Therapeutic Support Assistants to work in a PRU setting in East London. The role is non class based and is working across the school with individual students requiring additional mentoring.

Primary Learning Mentor requirements:

 ● Experience of working with young people with SEMH, behavioural issues, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication

● Deeper understanding of nurture principles and trauma informed teaching

 ● Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships

● A passion for working with SEND is essential

● A relevant degree in social work / education / SEN

● Excellent experience and training for aspiring Teachers, Pastoral workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, and Social Workers
