About the Therapeutic School

The school caters to primary and secondary aged students with adverse childhood experiences, including trauma, and supports children who have a range of social, emotional, mental health, and learning needs.

The specialist school has an excellent OFSTED report and an outstanding reputation.

The school offers a wide range of therapies, including Music, Drama, Play, Integrative, Family, Canine, SALT, Occupational, Educational Psychology and CAHMS.

What you can expect as a SEMH Primary Teacher in a therapeutic setting

Teachers at this school are responsible for a high standard of planning, teaching, assessment and behaviour management for the school's students. You will facilitate learning through your engaging and differentiated lessons. You can expect to work as part of a more extensive teaching and therapy team who are incredibly supportive. 

SEMH Primary Teacher requirements 

  • QTS or equivalent 
  • A range of experience delivering the primary curriculum
  • SEMH experience is desirable
