Salary: £72 - £87 PAYE

I am working with a lovely SLD/PMLD school in Richmond who are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their ambitious community and support the pupils’ academic journeys.

 

About the school: All pupils receive a safe, stimulating and challenging curriculum which is focused on the needs and potential of each individual pupil, where all achievements are celebrated. They aim to provide a holistic curriculum incorporating an understanding of and focus on mental health and wellbeing, driven by pupils’ individual needs, promoting tolerance and respect for others, that promotes a joy of learning and independence.

 

The Perfect SEND Teaching Assistant: Will have a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable students and helping them reach their full potential, whilst having emotional resilience and the ability to adapt to challenging environments. You must be confident with personal care as it is a necessity for this role. Experience isn’t essential, but passion, engagement and a sense of nurture are crucial.
