Our commitment to compliance reflects our dedication to protecting children, supporting schools, and maintaining trust with all.</h5><h2>Our Compliance Standards</h2><h5 style="text-align: justify;">We adhere to industry-leading standards to guarantee that our recruitment processes are not only thorough but also aligned with best practices including <a href="https://www.psinclusion.co.uk/cm/resources/kcsie-2025">Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) </a>and <a href="https://www.apscouk.org/member-hub/legal-services/compliance-plus.html">APSCo Compliance+</a></h5><h5>These frameworks guide our processes, ensuring that every candidate we work with and every school we partner with benefits from the highest levels of protection and transparency.</h5><h2 style="text-align: justify;">Candidate Vetting Process</h2><h5 style="text-align: justify;">Our candidate vetting process is robust and designed to safeguard students and schools while supporting the professional development of our candidates. The steps involved include:</h5><h5 style="text-align: justify;">Registration Form: Completed by all candidates registering for work, which holds key information and declarations required to work within the Education Sector.</h5><h5 style="text-align: justify;">Vetting Interview: Conducted by staff members at Parker Smith Inclusion, to interview all candidates for shortlisting and suitability.</h5><h5 style="text-align: justify;">ID checks: To ensure all candidates are who they say they are with a mixture of Photo ID, proofs of address, change of name and national insurance documentation.</h5><h5 style="text-align: justify;">Right-to-Work Checks: Ensuring that all candidates have the legal right to work in the UK.</h5><h5 style="text-align: justify;">Reference Checks: Gathering references from previous employers to verify experience and suitability.</h5><h5 style="text-align: justify;">Background Checks: Conducting thorough background investigations to ensure candidates have a clean history.</h5><h5 style="text-align: justify;">DBS Checks: All candidates must undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.</h5><h5 style="text-align: justify;">Qualifications Check: All candidates who apply for a role that requires a specific skill set will have their qualifications check such as PGCE&rsquo;s.</h5><h5 style="text-align: justify;">Prohibition Check: All candidates will be checked against the prohibition register, to ensure they are suitable to work with children.</h5><h5 style="text-align: justify;">QTS/QTLS Checks: For candidates who hold a membership with either registered body only, will be checked against them to ensure they have passed necessary requirements for the role and are suitable to work with children.</h5><h5 style="text-align: justify;">Overseas Checks: Some candidates will require vetting such as overseas police checks or an ENIC statement of comparability for qualifications, which our compliance team are on hand to assist with where applicable.&nbsp;</h5><h5 style="text-align: justify;">Training: All candidates will be required to show evidence (in the form of a certificate) or complete the following training &ndash; Child Safeguarding, FGM and Prevent; within the timeframes advised during your registration.</h5><h2 style="text-align: justify;">Ongoing Monitoring of Candidates</h2><h5 style="text-align: justify;">Compliance doesn&rsquo;t stop once a candidate is placed. We believe in ongoing monitoring to ensure that continued suitability is maintained throughout a candidate's time in a role.
