Support Staff:

Not all of our opportunities are for graduates – We will consider all levels of education as long as you have a demonstrable passion for working in education and supporting children and young people with additional needs

We also want to hear from graduates! – Many of our support roles are an excellent way for graduates to build experience for their future chosen careers. For example, many of our Psychology Graduates are able to use this experience to extend their studies for careers in therapy/psychology, this might be as Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Work, or as SEND Teachers

We don’t always require experience – Some of our jobs will of course require experience and we will always let you know if that is the case. However, some of our best support assistants have come to us with as little as a clear passion for working with those who have additional needs. Working in SEND gives you the opportunity to make huge social impact and an opportunity to change the course of someone’s life, we are always looking for people who are motivated by this. Top Tip: If you don’t have a CV littered with SEND experience, a cover letter or profile outlining your passion for working in this field will be helpful to make your application stand out!

Teachers:

Teachers with SEND experience – We have lots of teaching opportunities that might be of interest but if you're not actively looking at the moment we would still LOVE to speak to you about your career, even if it is just to offer advice, please get in touch no matter how small your enquiry

Teachers with no SEND experience – We are ALWAYS keen to answer any of your questions about a move into SEND, please ask us anything you would like to know! We have worked with many teachers who didn’t know how to approach a move into teaching in a SEND school. We can offer you insight into the type of setting that would suit your experience and preferences in order to help you make the transition

Unqualified Teachers/Coaches – The world of SEND is full of talented professionals whose journey didn’t offer them the opportunity to gain QTS - Please get in touch as you are still an asset within SEND!

Career progression/change – If you are looking to take your next career steps, perhaps into SLT, or just want a career change then please let us know your aspirations in order for us to send you job alerts when these positions arise....you can carry on with your current job and not miss an opportunity!

Therapists:

Qualified Therapists - Speech and Language, Occupational, Play, Drama, Art - We are always looking for Therapists to join our multidisciplinary school therapy teams!

SALTs and OTs - Although ALL of our therapy staff are important, the need for HCPC registered SALTs and OTs within our SEND schools/provisions is high! If you have paediatric experience, are HCPC registered or awaiting your registration, and interested in school based work, please get in touch

Lastly, to all who choose to work with us:

You can expect honesty – No matter what your situation, we guarantee honesty at every step of your journey! People are at the core of everything we do, and we want to offer you the best advice even if that means remaining where you are or taking an opportunity that we didn’t find for you. We always endeavour to find the right opportunities for you, but we also know that this isn’t always possible. If the right thing for you isn’t with us, we will support your decision and offer the best advice for you
