Are you a specialist SEN Teacher seeking a unique teaching opportunity? Are you looking for something different than a SEN classroom teacher role?

About the 1:1 SEN Teacher Role

The successful 1:1 SEN Teacher will work with a boy age 5 who is finding school life dysregulating and challenging. He is being assessed for ADHD, has sensory sensitivity, hypermobility, and fine and gross motor needs. He is a highly intelligent child with a creative imagination and a huge vocabulary who responds well to imaginative play, so a creative and engaging teacher is a must for this role. You will be providing 1:1 educational and holistic support to the boy at home and outside learning where possible. The goal is to reintegrate the child back into school and continue to support him in class and at home as this will likely be a part time schooling arrangement.

The ideal 1:1 SEN Teacher

You must have QTS. You will have the passion and purpose to educate children with additional needs and will have a nurturing but structured approach. You will have experience working with children with ADHD, ASD, and dysregulated behaviours. This will suit a creative teacher who is looking for something different and wants to feel inspired in their role again. This role can be term time only, or continue through the school holidays, which would be reflected in the salary.
