The Academic Mentor role

I am looking for enthusiastic, positive and proactive individuals looking to work as a Academic Mentor in a top ranking Newham secondary school. The Academic Mentor role will be supporting the Teacher and different pupils to achieve in your specialist subject. You will also work with young people who have additional needs such as ASC, SEMH etc.

The ideal Academic Mentorcandidate

  • First class or 2:1 in any subject (core subjects very desirable)
  • Previous professional or personal experience working with children
  • Professional, resilient and have a great attitude
  • Aspiring teachers looking to start ITT and gain QTS
