I am seeking actors with a passion for SEN and making a positive impact on students’ lives!

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students with a range of SEN needs, including Autism, Social and Emotional Mental Health, and Severe and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be in the classroom assisting the teacher with planning and preparing the student’s day as well as monitoring the students in the classroom. Be expected to be actively interested with students in multiple ways, including play-based and sensory-related ways. It should be noted that personal care may be required.

What do I need?

  • Experience working with Theatre in Education or drama workshops with children and young people
  • Genuine personal interests in supporting children and young people with additional needs
  • Being able to build up good working relationships with students and staff members
  • A positive, proactive and patient can-do attitude and someone who is willing to learn
