We are working on an exciting opportunity in an SEN-specialised school for children with severe learning difficulties and/or ASC that is based in Islington, they are looking for experienced ASC teachers to join their team in September 2024 or possibly sooner.
About the SEND school seeking a ASC Teacher
The school is split into two parts, a Primary school and a Secondary school. They offer education to children with severe learning difficulties and/or ASC. Children have communication needs and sensory processing, therefore will be working closely with speech and language therapists and occupational therapists. The school prides itself on creating a fun and engaging learning environment where the children feel safe, happy and ready to learn.
Their secondary site supports students from year 7 to year 14 and will leave school with an ASDAN qualification and other qualifications.
The ideal candidate for this exciting ASC Teacher role should….
- Have QTS/QTLS
- Be passionate about teaching children and young people with SEN
- Ready for the challenge and excitement that a new provision brings!
- Have ambition to take on additional responsibilities and leadership
- Be a brilliant teacher (mainstream teachers are welcome, the school are proven trainers!!)
