The role

I am looking for an enthusiastic, positive individual looking to work as a Behaviour Mentor in a secondary school based in Barking. This is a school specialising in sports. Some students in the past have even been offered scholarships for the MBA!

The role of a behaviour mentor is to support children both inside and outside of the classroom who may face barriers to their education because of their behaviour.

It is important that the behaviour mentor is resilient in their attitude and can act as a positive role model for young men in the school. Being able to build strong relationships is key!

Experience working with children with challenging behaviour and/or SEMH needs is essential for this role.
