I am looking to speak to Care Assistants/Support Workers who are looking for a career change! We are currently working alongside a beautiful SEND school who cater for the most vulnerable children in Isleworth.

We are looking for enthusiastic, nurturing and skilled Care Assistants to join their team. The rewards in this position are immeasurable, this role really gives you the chance to make a difference to the pupils lives.

Ideally, the right fit for this role will of had experience working with SEND previously; Autism experience is preferred alongside knowledge of PMLD and other complex needs. Experience with medical administration and palliative care would be beneficial as some of the pupils require specialist care.

 

Your Role and Responsibilities as an Care Assistant Assistant: 

  • Providing one-on-one and small group support to students, tailoring activities to their individual needs.
  • Encouraging and facilitating sensory-based and play-based learning experiences.
  • Assisting with personal care and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborating with teachers and therapists to create an inclusive and engaging learning atmosphere.
  • Promoting independence and life skills development in our students.
  • Participating in a variety of creative activities, from arts and crafts to sports and music.
