Mainstream Primary Teaching Assistant

  • 8:00am - 15:30pm
  • Monday - Friday
  • £85 to £95 a day PAYE

We are working with a lovely mainstream primary school which is a part of a well-established academy, they are a beautifully resourced and modern school with very low levels of behaviour across all classes.

Within this role, you will be working within a year 3 class, working alongside 3x Teaching Assistants and 1x Class Teacher, supporting the more vulnerable students within the class, and offering academic and emotional support to the pupils who require this the most. 

This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, all whilst building bonds with the students and helping them to grow and overcome barriers to learning.

The ideal candidate:

  • The ideal Primary Teaching Assistant would have experience working with children with autism, personal or professional experience I would love to hear from you
  • The ideal candidate will be proactive in their approach
  • The ideal candidate will be prepared to manage challenging behaviour and support students who may come from challenging or disadvantaged backgrounds
  • Experience would be preferred but if you have a can-do attitude I want to hear from you
