We are currently working for a wonderful SEN school in the London Borough of Camden as a Band 6 or Band 7 Occupational Therapist! The school specialises in providing education to primary-age children who have received Speech and Language needs diagnosis. They are offering an exceptional permanent contract opportunity to work within a therapeutic environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualised treatment plans for primary-age children with Speech and Language needs (SLCN) diagnosis
- Providing direct therapy interventions to support children's motor skills, sensory processing, and self-regulation
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the curriculum and daily routines
- Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Contributing to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives to promote inclusion and well-being
