This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated and caring individual to actively contribute towards the education and personal development of students within a specialist, built-for-purpose secondary school. The students at this school have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in place and can express challenging behaviour. This school in particular, has a therapeutic approach; they utilise play therapy, art therapy, canine therapy, a variety of sports, languages and music alongside standard school topics such as maths, English, science and computing.
The Ideal Applicant Might Have:
- Some experience in a TA role or SEMH setting but training can be provided for those with the right attitude!
- A resilient, positive attitude.
- Some experience of challenging behaviour.
- A keen approach for training opportunities to develop their experience and career.
- An interest in hobbies, sports or arts & crafts.
