We are collaborating with a Mainstream Primary School located in Hillingdon to recruit a Behaviour Mentor. In this role, you will support students aged 3 - 11 who have been temporarily relocated from their classroom to a provision due to behavioural difficulties. Your primary responsibility will be to establish rapport with these students and provide support throughout the academic day, fostering focus and encouraging positive behaviour. The Ideal Behaviour Mentor:

  • Ideally, have experience working within a classroom environment.
  • Ideally, have experience supporting children and young people with Autism and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Able to provide efficient academic support within the classroom
  • Resilience and adaptability are crucial alongside the ability to set and maintain boundaries
  • The ability to form lasting relationships between staff and students is a must
