Are you a Qualified Primary Teacher with experience in Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN)? or are you currently teaching in a mainstream primary school and seeking a transition into a SEN school setting?
Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN) Specialist School
We are looking for a EYFS/KS1 Teacher / Primary Teacher for a specialist SEN school based in Kingston Upon Thames, South West London / Surrey. The school caters for children who have a primary diagnosis of Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN) and associated learning difficulties. Many children have Autism / ASC.
The school provides an excellent education for children with additional needs, and they really care about their staff members' well-being and mental health. They have incredible facilities and resources available. This KS1 Teacher / Primary Teacher position is open to Early Careers Teachers (ECT).
EYFS/KS1 Teacher / Primary Teacher
- Therapeutic and holistic teaching approach
- Primary specialist with phonics experience
- Experience teaching children with Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN), Autism, and associated learning difficulties
- Positive role model to support with communication, with a sensitive, nurturing, and consistent approach
- Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students
- Has a flexible approach and is able to work well with others

KS1 Teacher / Primary Teacher Requirements
- QTS or QTLS required
- ECTs are welcome to apply!

Although experience teaching in SLCN specialist settings is beneficial I would also love to hear from individuals who are interested in taking their first steps into SEN settings.
