We are working with a special school that supports children with social, emotional and mental health needs and may also have communication needs based in North London. The school offers a nurturing environment and builds strong relationships through its inclusive, attachment-aware, trauma-informed approach. The school supports students with SEMH needs from primary through to secondary and the students will be placed at the school permanently.
SEMH Learning Support Assistant role;
- Supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs
- Class sizes will be no more than 8 students
- To go above and beyond to change the lives of young people
- To building strong and meaningful relationships
- Temporary to permanent opportunities are available
- Working within a brand-new building
- Parking available around the school
- 8:30 – 16:00 Monday to Friday
SEMH Learning Support Assistant requirements;
- Previous experience with SEMH and challenging behaviour
- Previous school or relevant personal experience
- To be resilient and adaptable
- To be reliable and consistent
