SEMH Learning Support Assistant


£90 - £110 per day PAYE!

If you have a passion for supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs and are up for a new challenge, this is the role for you!

We are working with a special school that supports children with social, emotional and mental health needs and may also have communication needs based in North London. The school offers a nurturing environment and builds strong relationships through its inclusive, attachment-aware, trauma-informed approach. The school supports students with SEMH needs from primary through to secondary and the students will be placed at the school permanently.

SEMH Learning Support Assistant role;

  • Supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs
  • Class sizes will be no more than 8 students
  • To go above and beyond to change the lives of young people
  • To building strong and meaningful relationships
  • Temporary to permanent opportunities are available
  • Working within a brand-new building
  • Parking available around the school
  • 8:30 – 16:00 Monday to Friday

SEMH Learning Support Assistant requirements;

  • Previous experience with SEMH and challenging behaviour
  • Previous school or relevant personal experience
  • To be resilient and adaptable
  • To be reliable and consistent
