SEN Learning Support Assistant

I am working with an exceptional primary school in Fulham who are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their passionate and hard-working team in September. Your SEN experience, personality, and attitude are very important aspects of this role; you must have a hardworking mindset and willingness to learn and undertake any additional training required.
This role is a full-time (term time only) role to start in September. The school will be looking to interview / trial potential candidates after May half-term.
The ideal SEN Learning Support Assistant
- Has experience working with Autism/ASC, ADHD, SLCN, non-verbal students and associated complex needs
- Has experience working with Down's syndrome
- Knowledge of PECS/Makaton
- Can manage challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner – intervention/restraint training is beneficial
- Can build and maintain relationships with staff and students
- Will go above and beyond to change the lives of young people
