The role of a SEN Teaching Assistant

I am looking for fantastic Teaching Assistants to work in a wonderful mainstream primary school based in Havering. This school has a lovely family feel and really do take care of all of their staff.

The school has seen a rise in pupils in their early years (EYFS) who have special educational needs (SEN). Therefore, the school is looking to recruit a number of SEN Teaching Assistants in order to support those pupils throughout their education.

As a SEN Teaching assistant, you will be working 1:1 or on a small group basis within the classroom. You will be supporting with classwork, behaviour management, and breaking down any barriers the children may face.

This is an extremely rewarding role and progress can be seen every single day. Being a SEN Teaching Assistant allows you to first hand see the difference you are making, and make going to school for that pupils with SEN slightly easier.

The ideal candidate

Experience for the role of a SEN Teaching Assistant is beneficial, but not essential. Perhaps you have a family member with SEN which has inspired you to be a SEN Teaching Assistant. Or maybe you have been working in a similar, public facing, sector and want to transfer those skills to support children.

Whatever your reason, I want to hear from you!

If you are interested in transforming the lives of young people, then please apply today!
