Qualified Teacher

Are you a SEND Teacher looking for a new and exciting position, or a mainstream Teacher seeking a new and rewarding career working within SEND?

We are working with a fantastic school in South East London Borough of Southwark to fill the position of SEND Teacher, leading a class of students with a diagnosis of Autism. The students at the school all have an EHCP plan and range from ages 4 to 16, with the successful applicant having a choice on what age group/year they would like to teach. In this role, you will lead a class while supported by 3 SEND Teaching Assistants, alongside training and various resources to assist you with lessons.

The school encourages learning through activities and creative means, meaning that in younger years, lessons will be more play-based learning, whereas with older students, lessons will be conducted through activities. This is a fantastic opportunity as the school is extremely well known and has a great reputation for supporting its staff and providing bespoke training to support teachers and TAs. The environment of the school is extremely positive, with staff being friendly and supportive and giving great feedback on the environment.

So, if this sounds like the role for you, why not apply today?
