I am seeking a proactive and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a brilliant complex needs (SEN) school in Epping.
The school caters for Early Years – Sixth Form with severe, moderate and complex needs including autism and sensory impairment. All pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential and to develop academically, emotionally, socially and physically. The school offers a flexible approach to learning as well teaching the skills to allow pupils to grow into resilient, confident adults who are able to achieve their individual best and participate in the wider community.
The ideal Teaching Assistant - SEN
- The ideal Teaching Assistant is proactive, flexible and resilient
- Every day is different, therefore the ability to work in different environments with different classes and SEN needs is crucial
- Ability to work with complex needs and handle challenging/frustration behaviour is crucial as a Teaching Assistant
- Can go above and beyond to change the lives of young people, whilst building and maintaining excellent relationships with SEN pupils and staff
