I am currently working with an outstanding school whose core values focus on improving the lives of children and families.

They are actively seeking Trainee ABA Tutors to join their friendly and wonderful team. This Trainee ABA Tutor role does not necessarily require any experience, however experience in working with children with additional needs, or a degree or strong interest in psychology would be hugely beneficial.

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Verbal Behaviour (VB) is a unique approach to supporting children with Autism focusing on each student’s individual educational programme to develop functional language and communication skills

This role would really suit someone who truly cares about having a positive effect on the lives of SEN children, while bringing a caring and positive energy to the classroom.

What to expect as a Trainee ABA Tutor:

· Fantastic training opportunities working alongside a highly supportive senior leadership team.

· An opportunity to gain valuable experience working with children with autism on an 1:1 basis while receiving specialist training surrounding the ABA/VB methodology.

· Small class sizes with no more than 6 children.

Requirements of a Trainee ABA Tutor:

· A degree, or SEN experience either formal or informal is ideal.

· A real interest in developing new specialist skills.

· The ability to be a team player with strong rapport building skills.

· An ability to provide a calming and presence while being engaging.
