Autism Support Worker – Harrow

We’re currently seeking Autism Support Workers to work across a range of primary, secondary, and SEN schools in Harrow, supporting children and young people with autism and additional learning needs.
Job Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Location: Harrow, North-West London
Pay: £90.00 – £105.00 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP or January start available
Role Overview

Provide consistent 1:1 and small group support to pupils with autism and associated learning needs.

Encourage social communication, sensory regulation, and confidence through tailored strategies.

Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to deliver holistic support.

Promote inclusion and help create a calm, understanding classroom environment.
Requirements

Experience supporting children or young people with autism or additional needs.

Patience, empathy, and a positive, proactive approach to challenges.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
