Are you looking for a role where you can make a meaningful impact every day? Do you have a genuine interest in Autism, learning differences, and helping young people reach their full potential?

We’re working with a fantastic specialist SEN school in Sutton, supporting children and young people aged 3–19 years with Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and the school offers an exceptionally nurturing, creative, and well-resourced environment.

As an Autism Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping students learn, communicate, and develop essential life skills. Every day will be different. One moment you’ll be supporting sensory play or communication work, the next you’ll be helping with independence and hydrotherapy activities.

This is a long-term role that could lead to a permanent role, offering absolute stability and the chance to grow within a highly respected SEND setting.

  • Experience or a real passion for working with young people with Autism (ASC), SLD or complex needs
  • Patient, empathetic and proactive, and able to build strong, trusting relationships
  • Open to learning and professional development
  • Personal or voluntary experience with SEND is highly valued

If you’re the kind of person who celebrates small wins and believes every child deserves the chance to shine, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
