- Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday - Term Time only

Parker Smith Inclusion is working in partnership with SEN schools and Alternative Provisions in Sutton, Merton, Wandsworth and Richmond who are seeking roles where they can make a genuine difference in young people's lives, where you can nurture the individual.

The Role:
- Supporting all age groups but specifically students in KS2, KS3, KS4 learners working at a KS2 level, following the National Curriculum in a way that meets their emotional and learning needs.
- Join a school that operates with a trauma-informed and therapeutic approach, where every staff member is trained to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
- Supporting students on a 121 or small group basis, working to not only support their academic progress but as young people!
- Working with young people with Autism, SEMH, trauma, young people who are considered at-risk (exclusion from school, gang affiliation and more) and complex needs.
What We’re Looking For
- You must have a proven background as a Teaching Assistant/Behaviour Mentor previously (school-based experience)
- Professionals with a deep understanding of SEMH, Autism, and ADHD, and the adaptability to meet complex needs.
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEND
- A patient, empathetic, and positive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Resilience and adaptability in challenging situations

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher (QTS essential) who is confident in delivering a highly personalised, engaging curriculum to children with significant additional needs.
The Role:
Teaching a small, well-supported KS2 class (8 pupils) working significantly below age-related expectations
Planning engaging, multisensory lessons that support communication, emotional regulation, and independence
Leading a team of experienced support staff (TAs) in delivering consistent and nurturing routines
Creating and implementing individualised learning and behaviour support plans
Working closely with the school’s therapeutic team (e.g., SALTs, OTs) to ensure a holistic approach
We’re Looking For:
A qualified teacher with QTS – this is an essential requirement
Proven experience (or a deep commitment) to working with pupils with SLD, Autism, and challenging behaviours
A calm, consistent teaching style with a creative and flexible approach to curriculum delivery
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with an emphasis on positive behaviour support
Passion for inclusive education and a deep belief in the potential of every learner
