About the Role
Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – Harrow
Daily Rate: £90–£105 PAYE
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

We are seeking Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistants who are eager to apply their knowledge of child development, mental health, and behaviour to support pupils with additional needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a psychology graduate who is considering a future career in educational psychology, clinical psychology, SEN teaching or therapy. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs), and learning difficulties — while working alongside skilled SEN professionals and teachers.
Your role will include:

Supporting pupils with special educational needs both in and out of the classroom

Implementing behaviour and emotional regulation strategies under guidance from SENCOs and therapists

Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions

Observing and recording pupil progress to contribute to assessments and reviews

Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
