About the Role
SEMH Behaviour Mentor – SEN School – Cricklewood
Location: Cricklewood, North West London
Salary: £95 – £105 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, term-time only

We’re working with a welcoming SEN school in Cricklewood that is seeking a dedicated SEMH Behaviour Mentor to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs. You’ll play an important part in helping students build confidence, develop positive relationships, and re-engage with their learning.
The Role

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs.

Help pupils develop coping strategies, resilience, and self-regulation skills.

Work alongside teachers, SENCOs and therapists to create a calm and structured learning environment.

Use restorative and trauma-informed approaches to promote emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.
About You
-
Experience supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour, SEMH or additional needs.

Calm, patient and confident in managing behaviour positively and consistently.

Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with pupils.

Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and reach their potential.
