We are working with a SEND School in Hounslow who are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support students aged 11 - 18 who require specialist support in the class, these students may have a diagnosis of Autism, Downs' Syndrome, Physical Disability, Complex Needs and Global Developmental Delay.

You will gain fantastic training and certifications for your own professional development. In addition to training, this role also provides various pathways for your career, with you working closely with social workers, therapists, teachers and other professionals.

This can help should you wish to go down these career paths or consider working in another role within education, such as an HLTA, Teacher or SENCo later in your career.

I am working with a lovely mainstream primary school in Hillingdon, which has a fantastic Special Resource Provision which caters for children in EYFS - KS2 who have been diagnosed with ASC, ADHD, Down's Syndrome and SEMH. This is a fantastic opportunity for any individual who is looking to gain practical and clinical experience in the field of special needs education. Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements Passion for working with young people who require additional support in order to access education and social development Ideally previous experience (formal or informal) supporting children with autism or other special educational needs CACHE Level 3 desirable A proactive and positive individual who is always striving to meet children's learning needs.
