The Role
As a Creative Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils reconnect with learning and rebuild confidence. Using your background in drama, art or creative expression, you will support engagement, emotional regulation and communication while working closely with teaching and pastoral staff. Your creativity will help transform the classroom into a place where pupils feel safe to participate, express themselves and aim high.

 

Key Responsibilities
• Support pupils on a 1 to 1 and small group basis within a specialist setting
• Use creative approaches such as drama, art or music to support engagement and behaviour for learning
• Help pupils re engage with a structured, academically focused curriculum
• Support emotional regulation, confidence and social development
• Promote positive behaviour, routines and high expectations
• Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff and SEN professionals
• Build strong, respectful relationships with pupils and families
