About the Role

SEND Teacher - Secondary

  • Permanent – September Start

  • Hillingdon, West London

  • SEND Teaching Position - ASC, MLD, Complex Needs, SEMH and SLCN
  • Paid MPS - Outer London

We are currently working alongside a SEND secondary school, they have students from yr 7 - yr 13 with moderate to severe learning difficulties and a range of complex needs, including autism.

The school believes in providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every learner is valued, challenged, and empowered to achieve their potential.

This role isn't about following a rigid curriculum. It’s about meeting students where they are and guiding them forward at their own pace. Some days, that might mean working through emotions before tackling a maths lesson. Other days, it’s celebrating a small but significant breakthrough—a child staying in class for the full session, taking part in group activities, or expressing how they feel.

If you’re looking for a teaching role where you can genuinely change lives, this could be it. Be part of this school’s next chapter as they grow in September.

What This School Offers You

  • A Purpose-Driven Environment – Every aspect of the school is built around the needs of students with SEND, from small class sizes to therapeutic support.
  • A Growing, Supportive Team –  The leadership team is committed to giving staff the freedom and support to try new approaches and make a real difference.
  • Career Growth & Development –. Whether you’re looking to progress into leadership or specialise further, this is the place to grow.

Who They’re Looking For

  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a passion for SEND education
  • An unqualified teacher with proven experience teaching children with Autism and SEMH
  • Someone who values relationships over rigid teaching methods
  • A teacher who understands that progress comes in many forms, not just academic grades

If you’re looking for a teaching role where you can genuinely change lives, this could be it. Be part of this school’s next chapter as they grow in September.

If this opportunity fits your current circumstances and ambition, please contact us to discuss how we can guide and advise you. Whether it is this specific role or other SEND teaching opportunities, we can help you find the right next step for your career.
