About the Role

SEND Teaching Assistant – Join Our Dedicated Team in September 2025!

Location: Sutton
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only (September 2025 start)
Salary: £90 - £95

At PS Inclusion, we are proud to support SEND schools across London that provide an inclusive and nurturing school where every child is valued, celebrated, and supported to achieve their potential. We are seeking enthusiastic and caring SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team in September 2025, working alongside experienced teachers and therapists in our well-resourced and supportive environment.

Your Role:

  • Support the learning, care, and development of children and young people with a range of complex needs, including SLD, PMLD, and medical/physical needs.

  • Assist with differentiated learning activities, sensory-based approaches, and communication systems (e.g., PECS, Makaton).

  • Provide personal care and physical support, ensuring the wellbeing and safety of every pupil.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

You Will Bring:

  • A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND and a patient, nurturing approach.

  • Experience working with children or young people with SLD, PMLD, or complex needs (desirable but not essential – training provided).

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A commitment to promoting inclusion, respect, and independence for all learners.
