About the Role

SEND Teacher – KS3/KS4 (Autism/Complex Needs) 
Location: Sutton
Days: Wednesday – Friday (3 days per week) - ASAP Start Date
Contract: Part-Time  3 days a week | Long-Term
Pay: M1 - M6 | PAYE (no umbrella of hidden fees/deductions) - will consider Unqualified Teacher if strong background in SEND teaching

We are seeking a qualified and passionate SEND Teacher to join this remarkable school community on a part-time basis (Wednesday to Friday).

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons tailored to meet the complex needs of students with: Autism, Complex Needs, sensory seeking needs, and dysregulation.
  • Collaborate closely with a skilled team of support staff, therapists, and senior leaders.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and stimulating learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
  • Use creativity and compassion to support students’ holistic development and independence.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential, but we will consider Unqualified Teachers with a proven background in teaching SEND students.
  • Proven experience working with students with Autism, SLD, and other SEND needs, ideally within a specialist or alternative provision.
  • Strong understanding of EHCPs, differentiated planning, and multi-sensory approaches.
  • Resilience, adaptability and a genuine passion for inclusive education.
