Are you a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a genuine impact in the lives of young people with Autism and additional needs?

Parker Smith Inclusion is working in partnership with a highly respected SEN school in Sutton, and we are on the lookout for a dedicated SLT to join their dynamic, nurturing team. This school is a hub of creativity, care, and communication-focused learning for pupils aged 4–19.

The Role

As the school’s Speech and Language Therapist, you will:

  • Support students with Autism, sensory processing needs, and other complex communication profiles.

  • Deliver targeted and specialist interventions using tools like PECS, Makaton, SCERTS, AAC, and Attention Autism.

  • Work closely with teachers, OTs, and support staff to embed communication strategies across the curriculum.

  • Provide training, modelling, and ongoing guidance to ensure a communication-rich environment.

  • Engage with families to support home generalisation of communication skills.

  • Contribute to EHCP assessments, reviews, and student progress monitoring.

The Ideal Candidate

  • HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist

  • Experience working in SEN settings, particularly with Autism

  • Confident using a range of communication tools and interventions

  • Collaborative, enthusiastic, and person-centred in your approach
