The Role
As a Speech & Language Therapist, you will be at the heart of our mission to enhance the communication skills and social development of children with complex communication needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create personalised therapy programs, ensuring each child receives the support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and provide personalised speech and language therapy to children with diverse and complex needs.

  • Develop and deliver tailored therapy plans that support both communication and social development.

  • Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, and families to create a holistic, team-based approach to student development.

  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting therapy strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Provide staff training and guidance on speech and language development, fostering a supportive school-wide approach.

  • Use innovative and evidence-based practices to meet the unique needs of each student.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified: HCPC-registered Speech & Language Therapist with a proven track record of working with children with severe learning difficulties and Autism, particularly in SEN settings.

They also have a great SEN inclusion room where they have specialist TA’s and teachers to support children with various needs, such as Autism. I am looking for a HLTA with previous experience as a HLTA or TA with experience of leading a team of TA’s. You should be passionate about your job and really have a passion to support the education of young, vulnerable people.
