About the Role
As an Unqualified SEND Teacher, you will support students with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You’ll deliver creative, engaging lessons alongside experienced teachers and teaching assistants and use innovative, child-centred approaches to help each student reach their potential. You will work closely with therapists and inclusion teams to provide holistic support. You’ll be fully supported by experienced staff and will receive ongoing training and mentoring to help you progress in your teaching career.

Track pupil progress using school assessment systems and produce high-quality reports. Lead literacy and numeracy interventions that accelerate progress for pupils with ASC. Create a calm, low-arousal learning environment that supports sensory regulation and communication. Therapeutic & Behaviour Support Role-model positive relationships, co-regulation and restorative approaches. Oversee IEPs, behaviour plans and individualised strategies.
