About the Role

1:1 Learning Support Assistant 


Location: Brixton

Contract: Long term – full time

Start Date: September 2025

Salary: PAYE

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school to recruit a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a child in Reception with an EHCP.

The child has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech and language delay, and some signs of dyspraxia. They are a delightful pupil who responds well to calm, consistent guidance and support throughout the day.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience or interest in supporting children with additional needs
  • Be calm, patient, and nurturing
  • Work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and external professionals
  • Support the child’s communication, motor skills and access to learning
