About the Role
Join Our Exceptional Team – SLD/PMLD Teacher (QTS)
Location: Sutton & Kingston | Contract Type: Full-Time, Long, term and Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 | Salary: M1 - UP3 (£186.73 - £276.64 Outter London) PAYE
Are you a passionate and experienced teacher with QTS, dedicated to transforming the lives of SLD, Complex Needs and Autistic pupils? We are seeking a qualified and passionate Autism Teacher (QTS) to join our specialist team and make a real difference in the lives of our pupils.

Emotional Dysregulation: With deep empathy and expert strategies, you’ll support students through their emotional journeys, creating calm, consistent environments that foster regulation and trust.

Heightened Sensory Needs: You’ll tailor learning spaces and approaches to minimise sensory overload and celebrate sensory differences.

Echolalia & Stimming: Your practice will honour these communication and self-regulatory expressions, working with speech therapists and behaviour specialists to turn these moments into meaningful learning opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
-
Experience teaching autistic children and young people, ideally in a special needs setting

Expertise in supporting pupils with complex sensory profiles, echolalia, and stimming behaviours
-
Strong communication skills with a collaborative, person-centred approach
-
Commitment to trauma-informed, neuro-affirming practice
