About the Role
Children’s Occupational Therapist – A role that empowers and makes a difference
Location: North London | Salary: Band 6 | Contract Type: Full-time, Contract - Perm
As an Occupational Therapist, your role is key in supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to thrive. You’ll be responsible for assessing and providing tailored therapeutic interventions, particularly focused on sensory needs, to ensure that each child has the support they need to excel in their educational setting.
But there’s more to this role than just therapy – you’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team working alongside educators, families, and other professionals, and you’ll also contribute to SEND tribunals by preparing expert witness statements and representing your work as a witness at tribunal hearings. Your input will be invaluable in ensuring the right support for the children who need it most.
The environment you’ll work in provides not only a team of professionals but a wealth of resources that make a real difference. From working with children in schools to liaising with the SEND assessment teams, you’ll feel supported every step of the way. With hybrid working, you’ll enjoy a balance of working from home and making an impact in the community.
This role is for you if:

You’re passionate about supporting children with SEND and improving their outcomes.

-

-

You will have the tools, training, and support to thrive in this role, making a genuine difference to children’s lives. If this sounds like the opportunity you’ve been waiting for, let’s chat and discuss how you can join a passionate team making a real impact in the world of SEND.
