I am working with a friendly and supportive secondary school in Croydon, London, and they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join the school as early as possible. This school firmly believes in producing confident and respectful learners who can exceed barriers and seize new opportunities throughout their academic journeys, preparing them for future education or employment.

The Ideal Behaviour Mentor:

  • Ideally, have experience working within a classroom environment, specifically with SEMH and will be confident with dysregulated behaviour
  • Ideally, have experience supporting children and young people with Autism and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Able to provide efficient academic support within the classroom
  • Resilience and adaptability are crucial alongside the ability to set and maintain boundaries
  • The ability to form lasting relationships between staff and students is a must
