We here at Parker Smith are working with a fantastic Primary School in Thurrock that are looking for creative and enthusiastic people to join their wonderful team in September to support new students with SEND. The ideal candidate for this role may have…
- Experience working within a Nursery, EYFS or KS1
- Experience with students with ASC, Complex Needs and who are non-verbal.
- Dedication to supporting students with SEN.
- Experience managing challenging behaviour and be confident in doing so

What you’ll be doing
Supporting children overnight, helping them to settle, feel safe and cared for.
Being there in the morning to get the day off to a positive start.
Acting as a role model and trusted adult, building strong relationships with the children in your care.
Working closely with other staff to make sure every child gets the right support.
Keeping the environment calm, safe and welcoming.
What we’re looking for
Someone with experience working with children or young people – this could be in a school, residential setting, youth work or similar.
A calm and compassionate person who can set fair boundaries but still show warmth and patience.
A real team player who wants to support both pupils and colleagues.

The details

Hours: Monday to Friday, term time only (night shifts)

The Role
