Are you passionate about supporting young children with special educational needs? A welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in London is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team within a dedicated Autism Resource Provision (ARP).
This school takes pride in its strong inclusive ethos. The ARP supports pupils with autism and complex needs while ensuring they remain connected to the wider school community. The ARP itself is a nurturing, structured environment tailored to meet the individual needs of each child, with a strong focus on early communication, emotional development, and cognitive growth.
In this role, you’ll be working closely with reception-aged children, helping to deliver a personalised curriculum and encouraging their development in a calm, supportive setting.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience supporting children with SEND is ideal, but not essential
- A genuine interest in working with children with autism and complex needs
- Perhaps you have a background in Early Years or Nursery work and want to transition into SEND
- Or maybe you’ve supported a family member with SEND and want to bring that empathy and understanding to a school setting
