Your Role as HLTA:

  • Deliver targeted interventions and small group activities within the ARP
  • Provide high-quality support to students with ASC and complex needs
  • Adapt learning strategies to individual EHCPs to promote engagement and progress
  • Support pupils’ social communication, emotional regulation, and confidence
  • Work in close partnership with teachers, therapists, and families
  • Confidently cover lessons when required, ensuring continuity of learning

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 6 months of experience as a HLTA
  • Proven experience supporting children with autism and complex needs
  • Confident in implementing tailored learning strategies linked to EHCPs
  • A team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
  • A deep commitment to inclusion and accessible education for all learners
