Lead Outreach Teacher - Inspire and Empower Young Minds in Essex

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to develop and lead a crucial program aimed at supporting and engaging secondary school students in Essex. You will play a key role in fostering positive relationships with partner schools, coordinating impactful outreach initiatives, and mentoring a team of dedicated Engagement Mentors. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the educational journey of young people and expanding their horizons.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement engaging and effective outreach programs tailored to the needs of secondary schools in Essex, with a particular focus on the Harlow area and extending to regions such as Saffron Walden, Newport, Wolver, Lon, and Epin.
Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with secondary schools and key stakeholders in the community.
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to a team of Engagement Mentors, empowering them to deliver high-quality support to students.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of outreach initiatives, using data to inform program development and improvement.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless program delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is highly desirable, but exceptional candidates with proven experience in a relevant educational field will be considered.
A demonstrable track record of success in teaching, outreach, or a related area, with a particular focus on working with secondary school students.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects effectively.
A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are essential for this role, as travel to partner schools across Essex will be required.
